Mohren beer has been brewed on the same site in Dorbirn since 1834. The new visitor's centre distinguishes itself from the outside by being covered in a veil or filigree of fine vertical aluminium slats, each anodised a dark bottle green colour. The effect of this is that the main facade, on Dr Waibel Strasse, appears to change with the position of the observer and the light. On the ground floor is a shop where one can purchase all kinds of drinking paraphernalia, from bottles of beer and beer glasses through to "T" shirts. The upper floors contain meeting and seminar rooms, of differing sizes, that can be hired out by businesses and the public, as well as a roof terrace. The building also contains a new link to an old beer cellar that can also be rented for parties and other functions.
