Villa Barbat

Barbat is a unique place on Rab, an island just off the Croatian coast. It offers a mediterranean climate, the sea and also a view of the biggest mountain in Croatia, Velebit. From every level in this family house, there is a view of the sea and the neighbouring mountain on land. The main level is the ground floor with an open kitchen, dining area, living area and a big, covered terrace. At the upper level there are three studio apartments with the back entrance separated from the main entrance at the front, mainly because of the possibility to use them as tourist accomodation. The house is slightly raised from the garden, where aromatic, mediterranean plants make a perfect surrounding for the house. The garden has a pool and an irrigation system.
