Komiza Community Hall

This pavilion building with a new programme is located on the edge of the compact fishing town of Komiza on the island of Vis. Visitors are led by a path that provides vistas of the town and the island's highest peak, right to the entrance into a building of modern concept, that at the same time shows respect to tradition and demonstrates a fine feeling of the space in which it is located. The interpretation and building in stone intertwine with the glass envelope, while the roof as a construction element creates a dynamic roof topography, intensively experienced in the interior.
