A diverse program is built for meetings, conferences and offices in the heart of the La Vache Noire business district, south-west of the city centre of Paris. This office building is part of a greater whole, the so called "Portes d’Arcueil", which is an ambitious program to expand the economic activities in this area: with 97000 m2 of offices, 50000 m2 commercial space, 500 new apartments and new public spaces. The project is intended to enhance the public life, with culture and commercial activities in a new business area, on the gates of the French Capital. The office of Dusapin-Leclerq is responsible for the masterplan of the area. The office of Devilliers was invited to design the ’Plein Sud de Thalès’, on the southern end of the site. The design is characterized by its ‘extreme purity and high-tech façade’. The cube office block has a double glazed façade
