All credit not just the the Architects, but also to the owner of this carpark, who saw the value of a witty, creative idea. It's quite easy to stand at the top for quite a while and be mesmerised!

this is exactly like San Gallo's well in Orvieto. substitute cars for horses. San Gallo's had an amazing double helix circulation system, so that those going up wouldn't interfere with those going down. I wonder if this one has the same thing.
