With the reconstruction of the Cologne railway station the Time Cafe was placed directly underneath the station clock with blue fluorescent tubes, inside the entrance hall. The aim was to create a café with so little wall space as necessary and as much as possible to create as much 'Domblick' (view on the nextdoor Dom cathedral) as possible. Following conditions of the listed Hauptbahnhof (central train station), the body of the café is exactly like the predecessor architecture.
