Entrance Kaiserthermen
The entrance provides a formal entry into the archaeological zone of the Kaiserthermen. The linear building forms the north boundary of the site and contains the ticketing area, toilets, a small display area, as well as curatorial and office spaces. Its placement and architecture corresponds to the Roman colonnaded sidewalk that once surrounded the original structure that enclosed the bath’s recreation space. Based on a cube, the structure is an exploration in the transformation of the module.
