House Conversion Waidele Wolber

The roof of this former agricultural building has been transformed into an apartment for a young family. The goal was to realize a modern living with a contemporary architecture in this traditional Black Forest building. The concept of the landscape as a reflection of everyday life was the main design element for the project. With its open floor plan and the generous windows, one can enjoy the scenery in the interior. On the first attic are the main functions of living (cooking, dining, living), the children's rooms, bathroom and guest toilet. On the second attic are the bedroom with dressing space and a small work area. From outside, the renovated building part is marked by a new red façade made out of wooden panels.
