Casa L
The intervention is made on an existing building with two floors located inside a small and private park.
It's a work of addition and remodelling, in which the final result is not only the sum of the parts, but also the ability to multiply themselves: multipliers of space, configurations, possible performances and of relations that parties weave between them and with the surrounding open space. The idea starts from the conviction that the project can't be solely confined to the volumetric area, but that necessarily involve the open and interstitial spaces; a landscape design.
The project with an 'organic way of doing’ tries a process of re-appropriation of interstitial spaces with infiltration of hybrid components halfway between buildings and landscaping. The great terrace becomes the element of main mediation between the inside and the outside; it's a sort of ‘home on the tree’ of childhood memory. In the eyes of designers run pictures of D'Annunzio.
