The building of local architecture centre Arcam is compact and sculptural. It contains three storeys, interconnected by voids. The offices are situated on the top storey. On street level are the exhibition space and information desk, and on water level is a space for small-scale events and group receptions. The blob-shaped building is clad with coated aluminium strips, folded over the roof. On the waterside, the building is cut open to reveal its interior behind a large glass façade.
