Three red steel bridges span the water between the residential islands Sporenburg and Borneo. Two of them have a span of 90 m, and the third has a span of 25 m over the inner harbour. The pedestrian bridge has a spectacular meandering shape.
How to get there?
The nicest way to go to the Eastern Docklands, is to take the boat from the Central Station to the Java-island. It leaves from behind the central station, at pier 7. It?s a free ride, and takes about 10 min, to the head of the Java-island. From there it?s about 15 min walking to the KNSM-island and 20 min to Sporenburg and Borneo.
