Kennemer College Beverwijk
|function||renovation, secondary school|
The Kennemer College in Beverwijk has been completely transformed by LIAG architects. The existing inner courtyard of 30 by 30 meters has been covered with a new roof and is now used as new meeting room with an aula and media-center. Now the school is a compact building, with efficient logistics and has a fresh and bright modern image. The renovation brought several improvements to the building. For instance the long and narrow corridors for large groups of students have been changed, new and larger classrooms were introduced and the new central meeting room, and entrance area has elevated the school, and made it more efficient and suitable for the future.
