Fuksas here has tried a tribute to the bee-hive of Ponti at the next-door Bijenkorf. This is particularly noticeable on the tiles of the facade. As with the Bijenkof the tiles are make in Makkum and developed specifically for this building. Although the tiles do not have the nuance as the Bijenkorf, this is nevertheless an interesting façade.
