A new home with 30 sheltered accommodation units was built on the site of an existing nursing home. The design should be seen as a solution that meets the urban development, architectural and organisational challenges of this complex project, which allows the residents of the old nursing home to remain where they were. Together with the surviving chapel, the new buildings, gardens and indoor and outdoor squares, which are connected directly with the village and the landscape, form an enclave that is open and accessible to everyone.
