This small but iconic bridge and ship control building has a triangular floor plan and is supported by slender steel columns and a shaft containing a elevator and the stairwell. From this building a number of bridges including the Erasmus bridge are controlled. This project consists of several elements apart from the Bridgewatchers house also a 70 meter long walkway over the Wilhelminaplein, the 'colonnade' and 'tower of winds' and 'dynamics rocks' on the quay.
