Hiëronymus House
Hiëronymus house is a monument located at the Maliesingel in Utrecht. The neo-Gothic building is designed by architect Alfred Tepe and was built between 1874 and 1877 by order of the Roman Catholic Parochial Committee. It started as an orphanage and later became a nursing home for the elderly. In 2001 the Katholieke Caritas Utrecht (KCU) was looking for a new destination for the building. In consultation with the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission the building has been completely restored and transformed into luxurious apartments in the historical city centre of Utrecht with a integrated underground parking system in the inner courtyard.
