NHO headquarters

The new headquarter for NHO has been designed with a desire to find the best architectural and functional solutions for preserving the historical values of existing buildings, and for adding qualities to raise the overall appereance of the complex. Two folded copper walls enable for the surrounding volumes to open up and address the preservable building. The square and the main entrance facing Frognerparken have been emphasized as space for representational exposure for NHO. The front square and the park towards the south will be given a new expression by an articulation of the coating and the green fields. The expression is inspired by the decoration of the main walls in M27, done by the artist Odd Tandberg.
