Apartment Conversion
This originally was an apartment with four bedrooms. Now, it has been transformed into a monospace, where the main room includes a lounge, a kitchen and a sleeping and working area. Only the two toilets are not included in this space and placed separately. The building it is located in dates from 1946, after the Spanish Civil War. It was a poor construction, but the architect wanted to show some of the original materials instead of completely removing the brick walls, pillars and floors of concrete. The loft has eight windows in triple orientation, which makes the apartment very bright and well-ventilated. The main furniture was designed by Piero Lissoni.
