This project is a model of integration in an urban centre, in this case the centre of Madrid. This integration occurs by means of an architectural language that deliberately renounces the reinterpretation of past architecture. The project introduces a high population density in an already saturated historical district. Although this decision is not the wish of the author, one can only wonder if a programme of dispersal perhaps would have been more appropriate for this particular context of high population density and an obvious lack of public facilities. In this way, the lot could have been used to introduce other community uses instead of loading the area with homes.
