Train depot and service workshops housed in a 240 m long concrete building. Elongated light prisms placed rhythmically along the roof (covered with plants originally found along railway tracks) bring light into spacious working halls. Includes administration wing with a restaurant on top floor. Together with the nearby switching tower, this complex has improved greatly the urban quality of the industrial area in the south-east part of Basel.
