Team Disney The Michael D. Eisner Building
This whimsical, colorful building crowns the northwest quadrant of the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. Built to unite the corporate executives offices, the design pays homage to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, the movie that made it possible for Walt Disney to purchase this site in 1937. The front fašade is a Post-Modern interpretation of the Parthenon, with dwarfs, nearly 6 meters in height, holding up the pediment and facing a pedestrian plaza and reflecting pool. Formerly known as simply Team Disney Burbank, the building was renamed in 2006 to honour former Disney CEO Michael Eisner.
