Gehry's first all-brick building, the Vontz Center for Molecular Studies, stands as a 360-degree sculpture, set off by a beautiful green space of sculpted grassy mounds and terraces. It houses the labs and offices on the University of Cincinnati East Campus. Light floods through expansive windows into every space. To many who work at and visit the Medical Center, this building represents the new entrepreneurial spirit at the University of Cincinnati - encouraging faculty and staff to develop innovative solutions to complex problems (text from project's website).
Only the lobby is public, during working hours: 08.00 - 17.00. To arrange a tour of the building, including the labs: email email@example.com.
How to get there?
